There were many strange customs in ancient India, one of them was women married at a very young age to older men. This generation can never even imagine how difficult it would be for a girl of age 12-13 to marry to a person approximately thrice his age who was married earlier
A beautiful cover which picturizes a mansion in India during the ancient period. Here the central character Kirshnaa is symbolized as a Queen Bee. You can also notice a bee in the house.

I also felt that the title is unique and considering the plot of the story it is the best one which can be given to such a story line.
Plot
The story starts in the 1900's where a young girl named Krishnaa is married to a person named Raghavendra who is already married but is not in good terms with his first wife Padmavati wand is brought to a new city called Kumbakonam in the southern part of India. The story clearly mentions how the ancient culture of getting girls married at a younger age makes an impact on her life.
The story also brings into light on the Indian Joint family system, the customs and tradition which is rare to be seen these days.
Overall a complete package of how India and Indians used to think and how joint families shrunk into a nuclear family

Language and Vocabulary
The story is written in simple English which give it a more charming picturization. The character name in the book are so different bringing a feel of a pre-medivial book which you are reading.
