Cover and Title
An astonishing an creative cover showing the image of Narasimha ,a mythological character with a physical appearance of form of part lion and part man. The book with the title "Narasimha: The Mahaavatar Trilogy Book 1" . Both the cover and title gives the reader an idea of what the book is about. The best part is it attracts people who are not even considered good readers to pick up the book and have a look at it.
Theme
The entire plot can be considered as a pure rejoice to readers. It is a redesign of the story of lord Narasimha. The only thing I knew about Narasimha before I read the book was about him saving Prahalad and the story of Holi. This plot give a new kind of dimension to the entire information of Narasimha the solider. The plot are beautiful tell us how harmful ego is in our lives..
A thing about Kevin Missal's book is he always creates a sense of flow in the readers mind with declamations. The beginning of the book which gives an intro of the various tribes like Devas , Asura , Dhanavs and Simhas gives non-Indian audience of the book something interesting to analyse. Couple of my foriegn colleagues read the book and they did get me back with lot of quest
Language and Narration
The language used in simple and easy for people to understand. The narration of the plot is so fluid that it does give the readers so called visual experience of the characters.
What I Liked and Disliked
I love the way Kevin Missal give a sense of curiosity in the readers mind even though there is predictability in the book. The cover is eye-catching and will prompt readers to skim through the blurb at-least , and when they read the blurb they will be forced to read the book.. Its a complete package of what a book should be like.
Speaking about the cons, I did find anything which can site out as a negative.
