Cover and Title
The cover of the book shows the image of a hot and steaming cup. Any book lover would love such a cover as books and hot beverages is a good combination. At Least for me. The title of the book  "Short, Not So Sweet "is enthralling and it can easily get readers more curious to know what is inside the book.
Theme
The book comprises of 14 short stories which is full of lively emotions and creates a stream of strong and absorbing thought sequences in the mind of the reader. The book has emphasised on most of the human emotions starting from love to betrayal. Most of the things mentioned in the plot resembles life which we see daily. The variety and mixture of the themes in these short stories is remarkable.

Language and Narration

As the storyline goes both the language and narration of the story is simple so that everyone can understand and feel the gist of what the author is trying to imply.
What I Liked and Disliked
I liked the simplicity in which the plot is been narrated. The characters in the book are overwhelming. As such there is no negatives to point out in the book , its short and everyone can have a go at it as it wont disappoint you in any manner.
