Cover and Title

A simple and artistic cover resembling an ancient lifestyle  within a bluish background . But this could have been improved in order to standout  The title "A Year Without Summer" is pretty straightforward and apt to the storyline which depicts a similar kind of plot.

Theme

The book plots stories from 2 different centuries one that dates back to the 18th century where there is a climatic change aka temperature downfall happens in the city of Kolkata affecting lives of many including young Sharat and one in our current century in the year 2018 where Niharika lives with almost all the amenities and there is something in between which links them together. The parallel lives in these two centuries picturizes diversity and uniqueness . There comes a climatic change with a sudden collapse in the temperature which is a sense of danger to mankind.

Language and Narration

The language used in the book is good and above par to communicate the details in a perfect manner. The narration is also excellent since the storyline is narrated in two different time frames there needed to a correlation between them so that readers could grasp what the author is trying to imply.
What I Liked and Disliked
I liked the characterization and how fluidly the author narrated the plots in two different time frames. I could say the cover of the book could be improved
