The cover of the book shows the image of three people looking in a defined direction which is flashy and par and after you read the book it does give a better sense on what the cover is created so. The title "The Story that Never Started" gives a sense of mystery to the readers mind which is above par taking into consideration the beautiful story-line.
Theme
The theme revolves around three different people Dhir - a confused person which is questioning his own future , Mohit who is questioning his desires for sexuality as people may consider it against nature and Shahil who his fighting his own peace of mind and questioning his own existence after his wife had committed a suicide . Each of them are peculiar and unique with their own lives . Each one has their own problems to face and its destiny that make them meet one another. Being in each other company make them understand the destination which they were looking for? The theme I should say is beautiful plotted and brings the readers to a state of involvement in the plot.
Language and Narration
The language used in the book is simple and easy to understand and the narration of the book is highly commendable as it doesn't give the readers a clue to guess on what would happen next. It does keep the readers eager to know whats next. The flow of emotions is narrated in a beautiful manner.
What I Liked and Disliked
I liked the plot which is unique and different from many such books I have read. The twist in the plots is also commendable The only thing I felt could have been improved is the irregularity in which the characters mingle with each other .
