Cover and Title
The cover which shows cartoonist image of two doctors and a patient in the background is attractive and different. Its eye catching due to the color combinations used to the cartoons. The title of the book "Lights Scalpels Romance" is unique and may be sometimes confusing to the people who didn't read the book. Sometimes its good to create a sense of mystery before someone reads the book.

Theme
The book is full of light comical moments I should say. So everything happens in a hospital environment. Two young doctors Nipun and Nishtha who are unique both in terms of character and outlook come to practice for MS under a very accomplished surgeon Dr. Ujjwal at the Nirog Hospital

The book also sorts in the politics which happens in every working environments that does happens in the hospital too.Dr Anuroop who wants him to be far more appealing than Dr Ujjwal. Admits all these professional and funny things there is a romance in the air for Nipun.. So it does have everything for a funny and tempting read.
Language and Narration

The language used in the book is simple English and is pretty easy to understand for most readers even though it does have certain terminologies used hospitals and doctors. The narrations is comical in most places and the writing style is flawless and there is no point we might feel a boredom while we read so this is a type of book which could bring in the funny side of life.
What I Liked and Disliked

There is nothing as such to be disliked about the book , the characters are well formed and it does bring in the funny side of the always serious looking doctors.
