Kevin Missal is a 21 year old graduate from St. Stephen’s College, who has written four novels till now ranging from crime to mythology to horror. He had written his first book at the age of 14, which was released by the Chief Minister of Delhi. His second book was written at the age of 16 and was published by a British indie-press. He is a pioneer in writing the World’s First InstaRead and is a bestseller on Amazon under horror category. He is also the co-owner and co-founder of Kalamos Literary Services, which publishes and promotes fledgling writers to make a mark in the literary industry.

Sujit: What led you to become a writer
Kevin: The love for words and stories made me a writer. Also Percy Jackson.
Sujit: What kind of research did you do for the books Narasimha?
Kevin: Did a lot of in depth comparative analysis.
Sujit: What’s first thing you do when you sit down to begin a novel? Is it the form, or character, or plot?
Kevin: I first get an idea, then characters and then plot.
Sujit: Writing a mythological fiction is too risky as the audience might not agree with you in certain aspects, How come you cope up with such dilemmas?
Kevin: Mythology is someone's truth. It is my interpretation and everyone has the right to interpret their versions. Just respect the interpretation and we will live in a harmonious society.
Sujit: Tell us two of your greatest ‘aha’ or best moments as a writer
Kevin: When I held my first book.
Sujit: Tell us something about your family and friends, as a young author how did your family and friends take up when you first started writing were there any hiccups in between...
Kevin: They believed in me more than I believed in myself.
Sujit: Finally Writing a big novel requires a lot of patience and determination, along with your daily routines how come you wrote a spectacular book 😉
