Cover and Title
If you have read the first book of Kalki series you would find a slight resemblance to the cover of the book which shows a warrior confronting with a sword in his hand. Same goes in hand with the title "Satyayoddha Kalki: Eye of Brahma" as it resembles a continuation of the first book , Since I loved the first part of the book I had no looking back to reading this book.
Theme
The book is the second book of the Kalki series is in continuation of the first book of the series and dont worry if you haven't read the first book there is preference which gives the readers a recap. The book Kalki is traveling to Mahendragiri and the way he faces may hardships. There are other plots which go on in parallel. It is the full of twist and turns and there is high importance given to its characters most of it from the first book. The characters Kalki , Arjan, Urvashi and Manasa are few which I loved the most.
The book is full of twist and turns and as the first book the author has given importance to the women character and I really loved its put up. The entire book is subdivided in multiple small stories. The book answers few questions which was felt unsaid in part one of the book.
Language and Narration
The language and the narration of the book is awesome and to be frank I expected more from Kevin on how he is narrating the book.
What I liked
- The characterization in book is awesome all the characters are equally important and charming.
- The narration of the book on how plot is given twist and turns
What I didn't like
- We all know that the book is named after Kalki, but I felt there are other characters which has more charisma than Kalki.
