Cover and Title
A simple and black and white cover which actually is designed normally ,but could have improved considerably. The title "Shadows of the Night" brings a sense of cult and creepy feeling before we read the book.
Theme
The book is collection of short stories , around 13 of them . I could say that each of those are idiosyncratic in their own sense. Each of the plots are different and as a reader could enjoy a vast variety of taste across the plots.
Language and Narration
The language used throughout the book is simple and applied to the plot. The book can be held and understood by most of the general audience and even across generations which includes kids.Narration was too at par , but with respect to plot , I could give it a fair deal.
 What I liked
  • The sense of variety in all the plots are appreciable .
What I didn't like
  • The book cover could have been improved and made more eye catching.
  • All the story lines doesn't have the same pace to it. As a reader when we read a book in a continuous stretch it could be a slight discomfort , but if you break the reading into chunks it would be a big deal.
