A highly compelling cover which shows a women who is faced many things in life and a thrown away bottle of empty liquor bottle . The title is "Daughter of a Drunkard Monk" is stupendous is most aspects which brings light to the cover image. I could say both the cover and the title are impressive and stand for each other.
Theme
The theme which has everything when looked back , it had everything when looked into if you want to see from a perspective of a woman. The books shows away the life experiences of a heart surgeon and a mother of a sweet son "Naina Sharma,". A truly over whelming story when to read through the pages up and downs , love and heartbreaks . It gives the reader some teary eyes I promise if you go with the character.

I was very well impressed by how the book started with a block called "Author Note" as it contained few questions to the readers a few questions expecting a "Yes or No " and trust me it brings out the readers mind before the story is already begun.

Language and Narration
The language used is transparent and simple to everyone to understand. The language is simple and easy for readers to understand and the flow the plot is impressive.
What I liked
  • Impressed by the plot and the characterizations
  • The narration is commendable
  • The story bring in advocacy of women's rights 
What I didn't like
  • Nothing to dislike about the book or the plot as such since the cases and situations mentioned in the book are impressive
