Cover and Title

A Cover showing the face of a beautiful girl within the dim ambiance of  a bar with a catchy title "The Girl in The Bar" would be like an icing topping over a piece of cake

Theme

The story starts with a male protagonist Rakesh sitting in a bar dull thinking of his pathetic past of failed love on a beautiful New Years Eve. He happens to meet a beautiful girl Maya who hits on him. The charming personality of the Maya pulls Rakesh into a conversation who teaches him a very valuable lesson

Language and Narration

The dialogues are very simple and realistic which eases the flow of the storyline.

What I liked

The way both the characters interact, the charming girl is described very well. A short story should have a moral towards it and this story does too.

What I did'nt  like

There is no twist and turns in the storyline, considering I have read most of  the books Sandeep Sharma.
