So what happens when you fall in love? Most lovers would agree upon the fact that love won't come that easy there would be a hardship on each and every corner.
When Love Happens describes up in a certain way what would happen one falls in love. That is mostly post-love factors rather than a pure romance fiction
Cover and Title
The title is apt and once you read the whole story you would agree upon the fact why told that. Considering the title, I personally feel that the cover could have been little more improvised since it doesn't give the reader the charismatic pull one requires
Plot
The story revolves around a Nish who loses his heart to a well-disguised girl named 'G' during his school days. 'G' equally loves Nish back but is reluctant or rather afraid to admit it. There are other personal factors which Nish has to give importance to his future is one of them
Nish has many things to prove and get into a very successful life. What would be the impact of loving someone in his academic career? What consequences do love make in Nish's life
Language and Vocabulary
The language is simple and what is romance without little poetic phrases (Shayari), the apt use of Shayari adds charm to the read.
What I liked
- I have been a very big fan of the Shayari (poetic lines)
- The vocabulary is well maintained unlike many first-person form of novels.
- The book also focuses on how to fight for ambitions in life
What I didn’t like
- The pace of the book is uneven, it started well but lost the plot from the beginning
- There is no equal importance gives to the female protagonist when compared to the male protagonist, I believe that if equal importance had been given the mannerism could have been changed
