Cover and Title
A mystery novel should have a good title and a cover to attract the reader and this book actually has both the traits. Even though there could have been possible ways in which the author could have made the cover more versatile. I love the way it's been picturized.
Plot
The book kicks of with a murder of a white woman (Sherry Binge) who was staying at a cheap hotel and Vicks Menon who is an out-of-work journalist drops into the murder scene even before the police are alerted of the case.
Vicks was actually waiting for an opportunity to show his boss how costly it was firing him. He wanted to solve this case and prove himself.
Vicks personality is awkward, he is a drunkard, lost his job from a well-renowned newspaper and his girlfriend due to his alcoholism.
So will Vicks find out the murder or was it a murder after all? Will he be able to prove himself to his boss? It's for the readers to find out.
Narration
Wonderful play of words I should say, the phrases used in the book are almost thrilling for a Mystery solving book. The author has tried to give in some extra-thoughts on the reader's mind when he filled up with words

What I liked
- The writing style of the author.
- Characters, which have been developed quite nicely by the author.
- The Names of characters seems realist for a spooky story
- The climax was a bit disappointing for me (The story is about a murder and letting the reader know who the culprit at the beginning stage of the story)
- Some chapters in the book miss continuity.
